What is the craziest thing you have ever done?
While working for Habitat for Humanity in Costa Rica last summer, our guides surprised us with a field trip to the Pacuare River. We went white-water rafting and stopped at a several sites along the river to swim, cook, and camp-out. At one stop, our guides said that there was a waterfall that we were welcome to slide down. I volunteered to go first, climbing over fallen trees and huge rocks to reach the top. I laid between two rocks and the rushing water pushed me down the 200 foot waterfall, which is definitely the craziest and most thrilling thing I have ever done.
Please list any schools you have attended or are attending. What was your area of study? What year did you finish at the school? What degree or certificate, if any, did you receive?
St. Ignatius College Prep
What would be your "dream job" in life?
Chairwoman of Federal Reserve Bank of the United States
What are your strongest talents?
My strongest talent is managing my time to ensure an appropriate balance between schoolwork, extra-curriculars, family responsibilities, friendships and social life. It can be challenging to dance six days a week, maintain honors level grades in advanced courses, and be a great friend, daughter and sister but I always rise to the challenge.
What do you want the judges to know about you?
Growing up in the heart of a diverse city, I have developed a "global eye." I am observant, but never quick to judge. I am thoughtful, but never biased. I share my thoughts on controversial topics, but always respect and understand another’s point of view.
