FARON MEDHI

Faron began her pageant journey at the age of 9, when her mom entered her into a pageant for fun. She fell in love with being on stage, and soon after she fell in love with the mission behind pageantry. Becoming Miss Teen USA was a goal of hers from her very first coaching session with her coach, Robin Gifford. Robin felt as though Faron was made for the Miss USA system, and Faron spent the next 9 years competing with the goal in mind that she would one day compete for Miss Teen USA.

Faron loves pageants because of the never-ending life lessons learned. Pageants have instilled self-confidence, grace, passion, and love for community involvement. They’ve taught her to articulate her thoughts and passions, and how to lead in the community with love. Her mother was born in Walthill, Nebraska, and her father in Assam, India. She was taught by her parents from a young age to work hard, accept everyone, and serve others.

Faron is a hip hop dancer, and took breakdance for 9 years. She is a dance teacher for ages 2-80 and enjoys spreading her love for the art of hip hop. Faron enjoys modeling, she is nationally signed and started her modeling journey at age 12 by walking in Omaha Fashion Week. She has since met with agents around the world.

Faron is passionate about spreading positivity and self-love. She strives to be a relatable titleholder on social media, hoping to break the stigma of perfection online. Aspiring to be a nurse practitioner, she is passionate about instilling values of self-worth and confidence among the youth. Faron authored and illustrated a children’s book titled “I am ABC’s,” which has an “I am” affirmation for every letter of the alphabet. She has been able to read to over 4,000 elementary students, and continues to do so with her title.

• Faron has been a dance teacher since the age of 13! She has been exclusively training in hip hop and break dance since 5, so she’s not afraid to bust a move. Her mom owns the studio she teaches at and it’s one of her biggest passions! Faron’s students range from age 3-80!
• Faron is half Indian and the first half Indian American to win the crown for Teen USA.
